  • STARBUCKS UPDATE FROM CRC

    CRC STARBUCKS

After extensive research, a newly updated Starbucks list has been compiled by the cRc. The following are some of the changes from the previous list:

    1) The cRc now can recommend getting a latte in any location as long as one orders a “kiddie latte” - which means to order it prepared at 115 degree Fahrenheit.

    2) For those that do not use regular milk, in addition to soy milk, there is also coconut milk available under the OU.

    3) Cold brew coffee (a new item) presents a kashrus issue due to kovush.

    4) Teavana teas are mostly not yet kosher certified but they are slowly working towards becoming certified. Of course plain, unflavored tea does not need a hechsher.

    5) Clover coffee can be ordered if one asks the Barista to use wooden sticks instead of the metal whisk.

  • KOSHER FOOD AT DODGER STADIUM EVERY HOME GAME!

YOU CAN NOW GET A KOSHER DOG AT DODGER STADIUM!

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers opened a Kosher food stand for the first time Tuesday night 7/28.

Tuesday night was the first of a two game home stand against Oakland.  Now not only can the community cheer on our favorite Jewish Player Joc Pederson , we can now also have a kosher "Dog"!

The JEFF’S KOSHER Hot Dog  stand, located at the grill adjacent to Tommy Lasorda’s Trattoria in the right-field plaza, will offer a Kosher Dog and a Jalapeno Kosher Dog for $9 each and a Kosher Italian Sausage for $10.  At this stand you can also purchase bottled water and a beer.  At this time the menu will be limited to three different dogs and drinks.

The stand will be open at all Dodger home games, except Fridays and Saturdays and Jewish holidays. The plaza area were JEFF’S is located is a very nice section of the stadium. It has a very relaxed park like feel to it.  The lines at the  Kosher Stand have been long but move very quickly and the food is fantastic. Those that have been attending Dodger games for years, this is going to be a very special experience for you

    IMG 7361

Jeff Rohatiner, owner of Jeff’s Gourmet located on Pico Blvd, is very excited about this new relationship with the Dodgers.  He feels very nostalgic about serving the Hot Dogs he makes, at the ballpark he attended as a kid!

SPECIAL NOTE ON GETTING TO THE KOSHER FOOD STAND IN THE RIGHT FIELD PLAZA If your seats are higher than field level you may be stopped when trying to access the lower  level section where the KOSHER food stand is.  Let Guest Services  know that you need to  get to the NEW KOSHER FOOD STAND and they will let you through.
