PRIVACY TIP
Once you enter the MEETING  most likely you will be connected to the group with your computer or i-phones microphone and camera ON! This means that everyone in the group will be able to hear and see you.  VERY IMPORTANT FOR WOMEN  THAT MAY NOT HAVE HER HAIR COVERED OR  YOU ARE IN YOUR JAMIES YOU MAY NOT EVERYONE IN THE GROUP TO SEE YOU!

SOUND: If your microphone is on during davening, which is acceptable, you should ward other family members that your microphone is HOT  and that if your husband is yelling at the kids in the background all the people in the group will hear this!! LOL.

ONCE DAVENING ENDS AND THERE IS A SHIUR OR YOU ARE IN A SHIUR
EVERYONE in the group other than the speaker should turn OFF their MICROPHONES!

SOLUTION: In your settings, you can choose to enter without the camera and or microphone on
The below image is to show where this setting is. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TURN THESE OFF
We just wanted to show you where to do it.

COOL OVERALL TIP SOLUTION TO ALWAYS ENSURE YOUR PRIVACY:
COVER YOUR CAMERA WITH A STICKY NOTE PAD OR TAPE ETC… on your laptop and iphone.
This is a great tip for those first-time users that do not want everyone watching you try to turn off
your mike and or video!

WHOS FACE APPEARS LARGEST ON THE SCREEN?
The person talking first into their microphone. For example, lets say you are in a virtual MINCHA started by a shul Rabbi.  Everyone will have their microphone and cameras on. This means that during davening your speak out loud your screen will take over as the main screen until the next person goes.
