A Parent’s Prayer – Tefillas HaShelah for Erev Rosh Chodesh Sivan
In the month of Sivan, we celebrate Shavuot and the receiving of the Torah. The Torah tells us that we are all ‘sons’ of God (Deuteronomy 14:1). For that reason, we have an opening to bless our children for success in all aspects of life.
It is especially powerful when said on the day before Rosh Chodesh Sivan (Gemini).
This special prayer was composed by the Shelah Hakadosh to express the prayers of parents on behalf of their children and grandchildren.
